Brevard Private Academy offers all core academic courses and a range of electives based on student interests. We offer: Yearbook, Criminology, Weight Training, Team Sports I, Art I& II, Life Skills, Spanish I& II, Sociology, and Film Studies.

College Readiness

BPA partners with Florida colleges and training programs to give students a first-hand account of available programs post-high school. Students attend several campus tours, college fairs, and outreach events to better equip them for future endeavors.

Field Trips- BPA partners with several vendors to expose students to various places and experiences. Students attend several field trips throughout the year. Students will visit places like museums, exhibits, theme parks, and recreational places.

Student Life

Students range from grades 7-12th. Students at BPA are committed to creating a peaceful and bully-free environment. BPA specializes in catering lessons to meet the needs of the student. Inclusivity is our goal, and every student is welcome. Students engage in STEM activities, Science Labs, Team Building games, Mindful Meditation.

Dual Enrollment-EFSC

Students in Grades 10-12 are encouraged to apply for college course credits while still attending high school. BPA works directly with Eastern Florida State College, to help students transition into this program.

Sports

At BPA, students can still play sports for any public high school under the Florida High School Athletic Association, FHSAA Guidelines.

Uniform Policy

School uniforms are required Monday-Thursday. Students are required to purchase uniform school shirts. Uniform shirts come in black and maroon, both including our school crest. We are now allowing students to express themselves every Friday. Students can wear non-uniform outfits that are appropriate for school (no spaghetti straps, undergarments showing, shorts above fingertip length, hoodies, etc.). Slide Sandals are acceptable only on Fridays. If a student wears a jacket, it MUST be zippered and without a hood. See our School Shirt Order form for more information and pricing.

Transportation

Brevard Private Academy offers bus transportation services to the entire student body. The school bus riders must adhere to the BPA Disciplinary Policy, as this time is still considered to be “school time”. In addition to the Disciplinary Policy, he or she must follow the guidelines listed in the Bus Rider Agreement form.

Standard Diploma Requirements

For students to be considered for high school graduation, and to receive a standard high school diploma accredited by NIPSA, he or she must complete all courses required by Brevard Private Academy and the State of Florida. All students of Brevard Private Academy must accumulate twenty-seven high school credits. See the following:

  • History — 3.00 credits
  • HOPE (P.E.) --- 1.00 credits
  • Performing Fine Arts (i.e., Art) --- 1.00 credits
  • Foreign Language --- 2.00 credits
  • Electives --- 8.00 credits
  • Total Cumulative Credits --- 27.00 credits
